
Nunavut Arctic College Media is a division of the Communities & Learning Program at Nunavut Arctic College and works out of the Nunavut Research Institute in Iqaluit.
It publishes books, produce films and media, and is building a digital archive to support teaching, learning, and research. It strives to serve all Nunavummiut and those with an interest in learning more about the Canadian Eastern Arctic.

The book includes advice on preparing for a trip on the ice or water, using both contemporary and traditional navigation methods, mitigating common Arctic hazards, and handling possible emergency situations.
Hunting is one of the most important land skills in the Arctic and continues to be an important source of income and food for many people and communities. The Hunter Education series shares traditional Inuit hunting knowledge, including the importance of environmental stewardship. It also discusses proper hunting techniques, safety, and animal behaviour.

Hunting Narwhal in Spring and Summer
Hunting Narwhal in the Spring and Summer is a guide to hunting one of the most important game animals in the North. This book includes advice on preparing for the hunt, locating narwhal, butchering and skinning the animal, and preserving the meat. It also includes information about traditional Inuit hunting methods and reflections on ethical and environmentally conscious hunting.
